Location

Anner Castle is located in the silvan Suir valley, bordered on both sides by mountains which can be seen from various rooms in the castle and from aspects of the grounds, parkland and river. The estate is in south County Tipperary near its border with Counties Waterford, Cork and Kilkenny. To the south, the charming coastline has sheltered, peaceful coves and broad sandy beaches, tall cliffs and sea caves.

Our nearest village is Kilsheelan - a frequent best kept village prizewinner. There are many good local pubs and restaurants in Clonmel and the nearby heritage towns of Cahir, Cashel and the medieval city of Kilkenny to explore.
